Two models in the App exist:
-
The "Teaching House - 'magnification with two fingers' and the
-
"Standards 1 to 7 listings" - having advanced search capabilities ( 🔍 ) - the 37 Standard Descriptors (at Proficient level) and accessible in seconds in the App (5.1.2 + 6.1.2) or choosing by ticking an identified Standard Descriptor.
The App allows all teaching staff to creatively seek pedagogical solutions amongst colleagues (3.3.2, 6.3.2 and 6.4.2) - the App reinforces both collaboration and participation amongst teaching staff.
-
Dramatically increase the frequency and usage of the App by demonstrating the nexus between classroom work and improved student learning outcomes (6.2.2).

Resulting in greater confidence with informed staff members precisely because they are able to match almost immediately their professional knowledge and practice (of the Standards) to their everyday teaching work.
-
Every time teachers use the App, they are committing themselves to their PD (6.1.2) which can be documented almost immediately.
-
Formal and informal PD and PL work is documented, verified and authenticated in the App.
-
Teaching staff will have the authority and courage to link their classroom work to specific Standard Descriptors.
-
Once "maintenance of accreditation cycle" or "cycle of full registration" - is attained (the past 5 years for full-time teachers and with 100 hours of Professional Learning) - the archived previous years in the App are retrieved by the teacher who is able to email and inform their State or Territory teaching authority accordingly.
-
New iteration: in the future, the APST at Highly Accomplished and Lead levels will be added to the App.
