What exactly is MyTeaching App?

A mobile-only digital app designed for Australian classroom teachers to easily record and save their professional learning on the go. It helps teachers accurately match and align their teaching activities with any of the 37 Standard Descriptors set out in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST).

Who can use it?
The App is specifically designed for use by practising Australian classroom teachers.
 

How is it obtained?

The App can be downloaded from the Apple App store or Google Play and installed on any mobile phone or tablet It is not workable on desktop computers.
However, only the head of school or the delegated head teacher or committee executives can register on behalf of their colleagues (teachers). See Terms of Use .

Is MyTeachingApp connected to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers? 

No – MyTeachingApp is not affiliated with or endorsed by AITSL (the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership). However, the App operates under a formal licence Agreement with AITSL, which allows it to use references to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST). 
 

This means that while MyTeachingApp is independent from AITSL, it lawfully uses APST materials under licence to help teachers align their professional learning with the
37 Standard Descriptors.
